Shivambu and Yoga Nature Cure Centre in Kolhapur, India
Subject: Urine therapy
Dear Dainis Michel, I would like to inform you as well as all other people interested in urine therapy that there is a newly built campus about 40 km outside of the city of Kolhapur in India called Shivambu and Yoga Nature Cure Centre.
It is just newly built and is rurally situated in the Western Ghats of Kolhapur district. The Shivambu Health Research Institute which runs the campus is a non-profit charitable trust which is dependant on funding and donations to ensure the building & maintenance of the centre as well as procuring organically grown food from local farmers and on the campus and the general running of the place. I would hope that the more people will know, the more likely they may recieve donations.
The unfortunate thing is that they do not yet have any website, which is also dependant on funding and donations, and this means that very few people know of it. If you wish I could send some pictures of the place which I recently recieved. I hope you may help me. The man who runs it is called Dr. Sarang Patil.
Thanks,
Stephen Crane

Please do send some pictures, I am happy to post them.
I have been doing Yoga since college and i love the way that it can relax my body. yoga is great for stress relief. .
Hi Dainis, I have been informed by the man who runs the Shivambu nature cure centre in India, that he does not wish for anyone to advertise the place yet, at least not until perhaps next year when he will eventually develop a website. Thanks.
Hi Stephen, I can host the site for the center. They can create a blog here…won’t cost em a dime…
This place is absolutely sh*t.
All I can say is stay away.
Mohammad: I edited the curse word, but left your comment. Can you tell us more? Just labeling isn’t really helpful unless you give specifics, reasons, personal experiences, etc.
Mohammad, just wondering about your comment on this place in India. Could you be able to go into alot more detail about the place, when and why you went there and why you think it is below standards? I’ve not been myself and would like to get a clear picture. Thanks. Ste
Hi Stephen – I had visited this place and its great …. its really sad that WHO is not approving SHIVAMBU … as even they are money oriented and it would be a big hit on the Pharma Industry …
Thanks
Sush
Hiya all, I can’t comment on what Mohammad said because I’ve never been myself. However, there are alot of uncertainties about this place because I have had such a hard time getting the correct information I needed from Dr Sarang himself. I’ve had many months of having most of my emails either completely ignored or answered very vaguely and in a very incomplete manner. I have always maintained civility and courtesy however. I was told that the water they used was river water but that it wasn’t filtered in any way as it was ‘virgin’ and came from a spring in the nearby mountains. However, looking on Google maps, it is clear that it comes from a huge dam several miles upstream and passes through alot of agricultural land before reaching the village. This would certainly mean that the water would become polluted with chemical fertilizers, pesticides, nitrates (prevalent in rural waterways), etc etc. This problem would be far worse in rural India than anywhere in the West because they go heavy on the use of chemicals. The village of Karanjfen can be found on Wikimapia. I would be rather weary myself of this because it may not be faithfully in line with the important principles of urine therapy, ie. safe & natural (organic) environment. The water used at his place will be used for cooking food, hot baths or showers, you name it. For most of the year also, they get their produce from a market so I’ve been told, which isn’t organic.
Hello Stephen ,
I have heard about it previously & want to know its address. Can you please send me it & phone no. My grand ma is not well & I wish to know if its possible to take her to that centre.
Thanks,
Pallavi

Sorry guys, I did not respond earlier. I forgot about this.
My experience was absol horrible and the 8 days were a big torture.
1) The place was absolutely unclean.
2) The discourses in the evening were boring, repititive and nothing soothing.
3) The morning sessions were holligan like – LOUD noise DIN Cacophany.
4) Rooms and toilets were yuck.
5)There was no privacy. The place was supposed to be silent but visitors of patients of urine therapy were loitering around in the corridor and talking loudly thereby disturbing all.
6) Worst part – since I was form the city, they gave me so muich importance and made me feel unconfortable. I imagine what kind of attention they will give to you white guys (coz ul have dollars).
6)Relatives of patients who are not fasting eat their food and keep their dirty plates in the corridors having trh whole corridors smell of cutty, onions etc.
In all honestly, I think you need to wait 2-3 years. They are very unorganised and there is nothing called as peace and tranquility. Its only din and noise.
Meanwhile, I have heard such centers exist in state of Gujarat as well…I cannot find any infio, but if you do, please let me know…even if you know that they exist in other countries.
Regards,
Mohammad
ugh, that does not sound very pleasant…it’s hard because money provides boundaries and standards of service…ut is free…but “life” housing, hospitals, beds, paint, a doctor’s attention, time, etc. etc. … all those things cost money on our earthly plane…so UT has a bit of a unique position…and I feel that the state of the facility you visited reflects that…
Dainis, you’re right, these things cost money alright but courtesy and honesty costs nothing. I got little of this from my correspondings with Dr. Sarang Patil. I’m sorry I have to say that. If he is willing to answer my queries with sincerity then great. Being told that things are not up to standard because of funding etc is something I can fully appreciate and understand.
Dr. Patil is more than welcome to join us here…
Hi guys, I do feel Mr Sarang Patil was decently knowledgeable. But his Dad who controls the center was absolutely a freak. Sorry to use this word.
The first thing you notice when you enter the retreat center is Mr Sarang’s dad’s photo (his photo looks very illustrious, with a shine on his forehead which you would feel comes from his wisdom and urine therapy).
But when you see him in person, it will immediately occur to you that the photgraphs of his dad put on the entrance are morphed to make him look more illustrious and shining. People were touching his feet as if he is some GOD and magician. The man had no desire to stop the people from touching his feel.
His yoga was very boring and I dont think he is too qualified to teach.
Having said the above, I would still suggest you to wait till 3-4 years before going there as this place will develop…they do really need help in organising things well, making it less noisy and giving privacy to people.
Regards,
Mohammad

Hello. I’m Nenad. I have a problem. I smoke and i take psychiatric drugs from my 21 years, now i have 33 years..I tried to stop taking drugs and i’m tried to stop smoke. I can’t. Doctors made junkie of me. I wan’t to drink my urine, I do not know how, can you tell me. I’m tired of Medicine and life. Urine is my last hope. Can you help me. Nenad.
i’m not here to help you, you are here to help yourself. if your instincts point you to urine, then you can consider adding knowledge (reading) and experience (trying it out) to your relationship to urine therapy. you don’t “have” to stop doing anything to start practicing UT, by the way
. also, my experience is that UT is a guide, that it guides you and helps you make good decisions about which medications, foods, even which relationships, etc. are good for you.
I heared about shivambu therapy. but i never try. now i am 52 years old .can i start now? pls tell me the method, its benefits&other things my m no 9423940078
I have been using UT for past several years, its quite simple .. you need to collect urine in a cup, preferably morning urine. Collect AFTER you have passed urine for 10 seconds, this will ensure its clean urine.
Simply drink it, I take approximately 1/2 a cup daily, have not fallen sick .. not even a headache ..strongly recommend it.
JUst stumbled across your site and just thought of encouraging those sitting on the fence.
I have first put to test Shivambu at the age of 14 years. In E.Africa I used to suffer from Malaria quite often. After reading in “Manav Motra” wher Lord Shiva Himself recommends Shivabu, I decided to try it out the next time I got an attack of Malaria. I did not take any medecine recommended by our doctor and only drank Shivambu.
My parents noticed that although I looked better, I was not taking any medicine as the bottles were still full. To cut along story short, I recovered completely and never ever got Malaria again!
Much later in US, for some reason I started loosing weight for no apperent reason. As I had no health insurance I decided to take refuge in Shivambu again at the age of 50.
I regained my weight and now take Shivambu every morning. I am now 64 and my friends swear I do not look more than 50 and complement me. If any of you wish to contact me at my em
shyam9ji@gmail .com
I hardly ever get even the common cold or any flu.
Even when I do, it is very mild and I recover much faster just by fasting and increasing the intake
